Project work is usually theoretical and experimental research on a selected topic in chemical engineering, industrial chemistry or food science under the guidance of an academic staff member. Before enrolling in a project course, you should carefully check whether it is permitted under your program rules and if necessary consult your program advisor.
Project work is usually done within two sequential courses, either CEIC8320 followed by CEIC8321, or FOOD5127 followed by FOOD5137 (12 UOC each). There is also a single semester condensed project, GSOE0024 (24 UOC); and a minor project FOOD5117, CEIC8319 or GSOE0006 (6 UOC each).
If you are planning on enrolling in a project course this coming semester, you will need to sign yourself up for the ResearchProjects moodle course. This will allow you to browse the available research projects and register for supervision. To sign yourself up to the moodle course, point your browser to:

You should sign up for the moodle course just before the semester in which you intend to enrol:
