Enrolment & Program Transfers
ACCEPTING OFFER AND ENROLMENT
Once you receive and accept your offer in writing you need to accept it via myUNSW. By now you should have your student ID and password to login to myUNSW so you can complete the admission process by accepting your offer online. Please note that prior to enrollment you need to first accept your offer on myUNSW.
If you have accepted your offer on myUNSW you can now enrol. Please note the Enrolment Dates as a guidance when the enrolment starts and by when you need to have your enrolment completed. Choose which courses you wish to enrol by browsing the Handbook. The School publishes each semester Enrolment Recommendation in the form of brochure giving you a list of courses recommended for Enrolment per Session. You only enrol in one semester at a time. Enrolment generally opens: for Semester 1: in December, for Semester 2: in May. You must complete your enrolment by the published deadline (please check the Enrollment Date link above for more details).
Get help if you need it
Staff and student advisors are available at various locations of UNSW campus. In the Library you will find enrolment support team able to help you with your enrolment at the beginning of each session, you can email them at enrol@unsw.edu.au or phone: +61 2 9385 1110. For assistance with enrolment you can also contact directly the School of Chemical Engineering at ChSE@unsw.edu.au . Please always include your student ID, name and program you have chosen.
PROGRAM TRANSFERS
After enrolling, you may find you are unhappy with your program or some of the courses you have chosen. If so, speak to Student Administration in the School of Chemical Engineering (room 324, Chemical Sciences Building F10) to discuss the possibilities open to you.
Please complete Postgraduate Program Transfer form if you are planning to change your Program e.g. 8033 onto 8034.
If you are only interested in changing your Plan e.g. Food Science and Technology onto Nutrition, please email Student Administration at ChSE@unsw.edu.au with your Student ID and brief information about the plan change or come in person and discuss the options with us.
If you are wishing to change your Program / Plan please note the dates:
- for SEMESTER 1: application by February 15th
- for SEMESTER 2: application by July 15th
