Industrial Training and Field Trips

Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry students spend a minimum of 60 days working in a company (Industrial Training), usually during summer recesses at the end of their second and third years. The purpose is to prepare them for employment, giving them the opportunity to gain direct workplace experience and to apply the theory they learn in class. Field Trip is a compulsory part of program 3060 and is the most enriching experience, both professionally and personally, providing a rare opportunity to see how the food industry really works.
