Admission, Costs & Applying

The School provides advanced technical and management education or retraining in specialisations in Engineering. Coursework programs of study leading to the Master and Graduate Diploma/Certificate awards in our school provide graduates with opportunities to extend their professional knowledge. Generally, the admission to postgraduate coursework degrees requires a completed undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study from a recognised tertiary institution.

For admission purposes there are two groups of applicants to our programs -

  • Domestic applicants are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens
  • International applicants are all other applicants (that is, not an Australian citizen, permanent resident or New Zealand citizen)

Closing dates

Applications must be lodged by October 31 for students wishing to commence their degree in Semester 1 (March) and by April 30 for students wishing to commence their degree in Semester 2 (July). Note that not all programs have a Semester 2 start date. Late applications may be accepted after the closing dates subject to the availability of places.
