
Staff, Visitors and Postgraduate Research Students
Staff and visitors of Chemical Engineering will generally be allocated to an office where a network port has been activated and ready for connection to the UNSW campus-wide network.
In general, the School of Chemical Engineering does not provide computers to visitors. Research groups are usually responsible for the provision of computers for research staff, postgraduate students and visitors within the research group.
The School does provide assistance with connection to the network and associated IT services such as printer configuration and software installation.
The School of Chemical Engineering utilises the central UNSW IT Service Desk. If you would like assistance in IT related matters, please log a Service Request with UNSW IT Service Desk, contact details as follows:

Ee Meen Iliffe (e.iliffe@unsw.edu.au, x54353) is the Computer Systems Officers for the School of Chemical Engineering, and will be notified on the status of each Service Request made via the UNSW Service Desk and will be able to provide assistance as required.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework Students
For undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, the School of Chemical Engineering provides 2 computing laboratories in M03 and Lab 713. These two computer laboratories each have 36 and 24 Windows-based workstations respectively for students’ use.
Upon enrolment in the School of Chemical Engineering programs and courses, students access to the computing laboratories will be automatically enabled, including swipe card access to these computing labs and login access to the workstations.
Specialist software and standard application packages that are required for coursework have been installed on all workstations. These two computer laboratories each have a high speed black-and-white duplex printer installed.

M03: 8am – 8pm Mondays to Fridays
713: 8am – 8pm Mondays to Fridays
